The presented thesis deals with the problem of treatment tactics in cases of multiple shaft fractures using the interlocking intramedullary metallic-polymeric nailing as an independent treatment method and in combination with other conservative and operative treatment methods. A method of the dynamic variant of interlocking intramedullary metallic-polymeric nailing with fragments' axial instability is proposed; a technique of complex rehabilitation and staged treatment is worked out and introduced. The peculiarities of collagen metabolism, mineral metabolism and alkaline phosphatase are studied in patients with multiple shaft fractures of lower limbs. The roentgenological dynamics of reparative regeneration of the osseous tissue after interlocking intramedullary metallic-polymeric nailing performed on two and three segments and along with other treatment methods is defined for the first time.
