Essay

The thesis is devoted to development of mathematical method and computer-based algorithm of analysis of ferroresonant modes of electromagnetic devices of control systems. The proposed method is based on the sensitivity model for initial conditions. It allows development general method of analysis of ferroresonant modes that is able to the end-to-end solution. Firstly, it is possible to calculate the transient mode and the steady-state on basis of the common mathematical tool. Secondly, using the results of the steady-state analysis we determine the solution stability that is a question of principle for such problems class. Thirdly, the required conditions of ferroresonance initiation are derived. Computer-based algorithms and software package of analysis of ferroresonance modes of transformers, magnetic magnifiers, ferromagnetic frequency multipliers and sequential ferroresonance frequency relays are developed. Part of the results of computer simulation are verified experimentally.
