The dissertation is devoted to the problem of sepsis in immature babies, specifically to clinico-hematological and immunological criteria of prognosing sepsis.It has been proved that unfavourable course of sepsis is characterized by its liability to developing anemia, thrombocytopenia, absolute neutropenia with prevalence of segmento-nuclear, functionally week active forms, absolute and relative monocytopernia, lymphopenia and aneozinophylia, supression of sections of cellular and humoral immunity, disturbanse of phagocyte function, metabolic activity and state of microbiocide intraleucocide system.
