It has been found that the whole spectrum of known pathologic changes occurs in the conductive system, although serious injuries rarely develops. Adaption significantly dominate over alteration. Pathologic changes in the cardiac conduction system in coronary heart disease and dilated cardiomyopathy are none specific and are not always manifested by rhythm and conduction disorders. Arrhythmias and node blocks can occur not only as a result of changes in the conduction system itself, but also due to other changes of the various surrounding tissues. Primary anomalies of the heart conduction system and injury to its arteries are often manifested by arrhythmias and node blocks.
