Sopushyns'kyj I. The Influence of the forest side conditions southwestrn megaslope of Ukrainian Carpathian on beech wood properties (Fagus sylvatica L.)

Directed description of ecological and forestry peculiarities of common beech. To study of forest growing conditions of southern western megaslope of Ukrainian Carpathiens on beech wood properties. The object of study is beech stands. Research methods are: forestry, wood sciences, taxation (assessment) and statistic. There are investigated the peculiarities of influences of the forest growing conditions on the wood properties. It is distinguished the altitude-ecological bells of beech stands by structure and physical wood properties. There are determinations the peculiarities of forming of the high quality beech trunks. Some proposals were elaborated consorting the rational use of beech wood.
