The dissertation deals with the study of the spring ritual folklore in Bukovyna which includes: spring, ritual, and curse songs, songs of praise, play (round dance) songs, lyrical songs, and folk songs such as folk canticles, and St.George's day songs. A separate section is dedicated to the analysis of each type of the songs.
