The dissertation is devoted the interaction of easy metals (Al, Mg, Ti) and their oxides with alkali and alkaline-salt melts. The attention was paid to such basic points: the solubility of easy metal oxides in alkali melts and their mixture with galogenide of alkali metals; the kinetics of solubility of alumina in alkaline-salt melts; the kinetics of corrosion of easy metal (Al, Mg, Ti) in fused alkaline metal hydroxides.
