Investigation object: Land mollusc communities. Investigation methods: zoological. Theoretical and practical results, novelty: The changes in the land mollusc fauna of the large city during the last 100 years were analysed, taking Lviv as a model. The dependence of the species composition of the mollusc communities from the modern state of the urban biotops and their history were demonstrated. The decrease of the polymorphic diversity of the introduced species were demonstrated on the example of Cepaea hortensis. Degree of application: it is planned. Sphere (area) of aplication: ecology, ptotection of the nature.
