The mathematical model of multicriterion optimization of Novikov bevel gears was constructed for the first time to bring a gears technical level increase. New rational initial contours NS-1K and SUDU-1 were synthesized by using the multicriterion synthesis. They providing the higher qualitative parameters of serviceability in a comparsion with known ini-tial contours. The receptivity of Novikov bevel gears with NS-1K and SUDU-1 initial contours to errors of manufactur-ing and mounting was researched. The admissions to manu-facturing accuracy of gear-wheels with new initial contours was calculated. The admissions of hob cutters for Novikov bevel gears with two lines of a linkage was calculated. The adequacy of theoretical modeling is confirmed by experimen-tal researching results.
