Essay

The dissertation deals with investigation into the lead migration capacity within the "soil-plant" system, phytotoxic effect of heavy metal on the winter wheat, as well as modeling of the toxicant migration to derive forecast estimation of the level of agrocenoses pollution by heavy metals. There was established the regular naturally-technogenic diffusion of the lead within the dark-gray podsol soils of Kyiv Polissya. Phytotoxic effect of the lead ions on the growth, development and physiologically-biochemical indices of the winter wheat with due account of the heavy metals accumulation in plant organs were examined. Plant growth was estimated to be an integral parameter of the plant stress state to be used upon construction of the mathematical model for lead migration in the system of the "soil-plant". The forecast estimation for the level of agrocenoses pollution by heavy metals has been obtained.
