Lutsenko I. Formation of Logistic Systems on the Furniture Market

The Dissertation is devoted to determination of the main theoretical principles and practical recommendations concerning formation of logistic systems on the furniture market of Ukraine, and their effective functioning providing. The dissertation discloses some main factors of logistic systems formation, principles of their construction, criteria and measures of their performance effіciency, and presents some methods of their estimation. It analyzes the current condition of the furniture market and its subjects as links of a logistic chain. It explores the problems of furniture transportation, warehousing and realization, proposes main ways of their solving, defines the methodical approaches to selection of the channels of furniture distribution, warehousing location, and gives recommendations as to development of the channels of goods distribution, including ones that are based on the modern telecommunication technologies, improvement of the warehousing and transport infrastructure as a part of logist ic system. The dissertation finds out the principal ways of logistic systems effective functioning particularly owing to inventory optimization, creation of the computer-aided information logistic system, improvement of relationship between participants of the logistic process.
