Essay

The dissertation focuses on the problem of improvement of the methods of revealing of the hidden fracture high penetrable zones (FHPZ) rock massives for the efficient solving of various geoecological problems. The dissertation defines the optimum complex of the indirect methods of predicting FHPZ and their possible influence on environment. The complex provides for the comple-tion of the multistaged works in accordance with the following scheme: laboratory re-search (geostructural scientific grounding of the tectonic defects and the related potential zones of the present geodynamic activity of the mountain rocks), field instrumental re-search (emanation and atmogeochemical surveys, thermometric and hydrometric re-searches). The elaborated comlex of methods was tested on the proving ground. The effi-ciently of its application (based on the informativeness, speed of obtaining field data and their processing, their value) was proved under the selection of territories of RAW (radio-active waste products) i n crystalline rock foundation, by predicting ways of spreading of the radioactive pollution, by investigating the interdependence of underground and sur-face waters, by defining the territories of karst activation processes, by elaborating the recommendations as for creating the optimum monitoring series of the ecologically-insecure geoecological processes.
