Essay

The object of researches is forming process of an orbit surface of worm with a concave profile of orbits. The purpose of job is advancing forming by cutting by the disk tool of worms helical surfaces with a concave profile of orbits at the expense of creation of more technologic making tool pair for formation conjugate of a worm wheel tooth surfaces and worm orbits, mining machine tool engagements for implementation of worm orbits forming process, creation of tool maintenance of forming process. Method of testings. Theoretical - with usage of positions of the envelopes theory, theory of toothings, theory of cutting tools designing and experimental - for check of outcomes of analytical investigations with usage of the modern equipment and measurement technology, with processing of the obtained outcomes through modern means of a computer. For the first time is designed a firm incongruent generating pair for forming of mating surfaces of worm gears with a concave profile of worm orbit. For the first time are designed a machine tool engagement and tool maintenance for implementation of worm orbits forming process. The machining time of worm processing is twice reduced. Outcomes of a thesis is introduced in production. Area of usage is the engineering.
