Essay

The object - American mink (Mustela vison Schreber) from birth up to two-years age. The purpose - .study dynamics of some major morphological and biomechanical characteristics long tubular bones limbs of American mink in the postnatal period ontogenesis and to reveal laws of morphological and biomechanical changes of bones during their growth, the allometric tendency and sexual features of development. Methods - morphological (morphometric, biomechani-cal, hystological) - definition of laws of quantitative and qualitative changes in the postnatal period ontogenesis of American mink. Re-sults - growth of body weight is going under the exponent law with non-uniform speed. The periodicity and heterochronia is established during the limb bones (stylo- and zeugopodium) growth and devel-opment. The growth of bones is uneven, with age the intensity of growth is decreasing. The major morphobiomechanical parameters of bones (length, diameter, area and index compact bone parameters of bones (length, diameter, area and index compact bone tissue, the moments of inertia) change allometrically and have a high degree of correlation with weight of an animal (r > 0,99). The growth rate of pelvic bones is more those thoracic bone. Thus the bones growth rate of males is authentic above than female. The strength and reliability of tubular bones of stylo- and zeugopodium have the maximal value per 240 day. For this period in bone tissue the quantity of osteoid structures is increased and occurs synostosis between diaphysis's both distal epiphysis of humeral and proximal part of femoral bones, that influences intensity of changes of the linear sizes morphobiomechanic parameters. Novelty - for the first time in Ukraine the complex morphological and biomechanical researches of growth and development limb bones of stylo- and zeugopodium of American mink in the postnatal period ontogenesis and analysed their age and sexual changes in conditions cells of the contents are carried out. The degree of introduction - is prepared for in troduction. The sphere of using -veterinary medicine, fur-breeding, educational and methodical process.
