Gavrylyak V. Correlation between metabolism indices in the blood of Ukrainian Karpathian sheep (trans- karpathian type) and wool growth, structure, chemical composition and physical properties

Object of research: Ukrainian Karpathian sheep (transkarpathian type), blood serum and plasma, wool. The purpose of operation: investigation of interrelation between thyreoid and metabolic blood profile of Ukrainian Karpathian sheep and physical properties. The methods of researches and equipment: вiochemical, physiological, radioimmunoassay, zootechnical, counter of ?-radiation, spectrofotometr, analisator of phoregram. Theoretical and practical outcomes: The results of investigation elucidate the interrelation between thyreoid and metabolic blood profile of sheep with wool growth, its morphostructure, chemical composition and physical properties. These results has been shown the changes associated with different factors such as pregnancy and lactation influence both hormonal and metabolic blood profile and wool formation processes.
