Object of research: discharge diffusers (DD) of axial-flow pumps with the blade system of NR-type. The purpose of research: determination of optimal internal angle of DD. Methods of researches: experimental and computational. Main results: a technique for calculation of flow is developed, good correspondence of computational and experimental velocity distributions in DD is obtained, the dependence of optimal internal angle on area ratio of DD is obtained.
