Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the development of physical ways of creating new materials, based on super-pure Beryllium and its alloys. The formation of cell structure in super-pure Beryllium at the time of hydro-extrusion has been studied. The dependence of the microstructure on the conditions of the deformation is analyzed. For the first time, compact materials with high mechanical properties were obtained from spherical powders of Beryllium and its alloys by the hydro-extrusion method at high temperature. Experimentally we have studied the influence of the parameters of hot iso-static pressing on the removal of casting defects in Beryllium ingots. A complex scheme is proposed for obtaining materials from Beryllium-Aluminum alloys, which have high mechanical properties.
