Essay

The dissertation is devoted to problem of surgical treatment chronic subdural hematomas. In the work offered new minimally invasive operative methods, which based on usage of modern endoscope-assisted technique. The high efficiency of designed biportal and multiportal methods established theoretically and affirmed practically. Application of endoscope-assisted technique at removing chronic subdural hematomas allows completely evacuate massive clots, including fixed to the capsule, transform septated multichamber hematomas in non-septated single chamber with destruction of intracapsule membrane and perform punching of the hematomas capsule. At usage of designed methods achieved more favorable postoperative results, more often and faster marked is the transition from phases of a decompensation to phases of clinical subcompensation and compensation. The practical implementation of the basic results of the work has allowed to improve outcomes of surgical treatment patients with chronic subdural hematomas.
