Essay

The thesis is dedicated to development and research of principles of constructions and creations of new analog-to-digital converters of single and rarely repeating signals with considerable increase of both - response speed and accuracy, and adaptation possibility of input single and rarely repeating signals for both amplitude and duration of nano- and picosecond ranges signals. There have been offered and explored new classes of converters - fast converters on the basis of special storing cathode-ray tubes with electrical reading of the information, tunnel diode converters and fiber optics elements converters. There have been carried out the analytical expressions for conversion characteristics and estimation of converters errors. There have been offered hardware and program methods of lowering conversion errors, algorithms of nonlinearity correction of signal and time channels and passband of converters, which reduce the aggregate conversion error up tu 1-2 % and lower. 7
