Yeres'ko O. Methods of improvement of characteristics of converters with sinusoidal PWM

Semiconductor converters with sinusoidal PWM are considered in the present work. The aim of the work is to improve commutation characteristics and simplify structures of control systems. Method of commutation functions and harmonic components, PC simulation and physical experiments were used. New structures of converters with sinusoidal PWM and transistor switches for their realization are ther allow to reduce commutation losses and improve reliability. Engineering methods were developed for calculation of converter pa rameters. The developments have been implemented at P.O. Box M-5740 ("KhELZ") and recommended for implementation at Khar- kov Electromechanical Plant. Area of application power electronics.
