Essay

The non-steady hydroaerodynamic characteristics of the wing with the infinite span, elastically fastened on the rotation axis are obtained. The behaviour of the propulsive (thrust) wing characteristics was studied under oscillations in the non-limited fluid as well as near the plane wall and in the channel. The resonant oscillations modes of the most practical interest were investigated. In particular, it was stated that under resonant oscillations the availability of the solid boundaries stipulates the faster reach of the constant amplitude values such that the time of reach is directly proportional to the value of the wing inertia momentum. The calculations methods are developed on basis of the improved discrete vortices method. The results of the work can be applied in the technical devices design in cases of use of the wing with elastic fastening as the propulsor or the operating element.
