Essay

Role of structure parameters of different hierarchy levels in wear processes is determined and basic demands for them to increase of wear resistance of improvable steels are elucidated. Possibilities of wear resistance increase of improvable steels at the expense of formation after hardening needled martensite crystals, which further to form during tempering aggregation of carbides precipitation along microtwin boundaries, which sizes and distribution approximate to parameters of general contact model during friction are determined.
