Essay

Object of study is a process of modeling of placement of polytopes in given areas. Development of methodology of solving optimisation placement problems of convex polytopes of the free spatial forms. Methods of geometric designing, method to optimization by groups of variables. The method of solving a problem of packing a number of the arbitrary convex polytopes and corresponding software is designed based on the methods of optimization by groups of variables and buildings of 0-level surface of the Ф-function. The method allows to solve a problem of location of large number of convex polytopes in given areas with minimization of height of busy part of area. Results are used on "HТZ" as corresponding software. Sphere of use are machinebuilding, transport, construction.
