Purpose of research: development a method of the estimation of motor oils friction compatibility with the materials of the internal combustion engines tribosystem and method of transients when changing the grade and mark of the motor oil in the integral combustion engines tribosystems. Method of research: physical modeling, method of acoustic issue (AI), system analysis, Auger Spectroscopy of friction surfaces and methods of mathematical statistics. The equipment: PC, friction machine 2070 СМТ-1, microanalyzer JAMP-10S, measuring complex for registration of acoustic signals АF-15, microscop МЕТАМ Р-1. Theoretical and practical results: There has been developed a method of the estimation of motor oils friction compatibility with the materials of the internal combustion engines tribosystem, that includes a preliminary estimation of the tribological properties of oils by a four-ball friction machine using the integrated criterion and a physical modeling on the model samples. There has been developed a met hod of the physical modeling of transients when changing the grade and mark of the motor oil in the internal combustion engines tribosystems. It has been established that a change of motor oil of various service groups from mineral to synthetic, and on the contrary causes a secondary running-in in the internal combustion engines tribosystems. It has also been established that the application of washoils in the tribosystem ware reduces the time of alignment, but if raises the speed of wear processes. There have been developed recommendations for the choice of the Ukrainian motor oils for DEUTZ-В6M1013E. Scientific novelty: There has been offered a new tribological characteristic of lubricant materials; that is the value of the energy density, with help has been possible to estimate tribological property of lubricant at a start stage of a rational cycle tests. There has been established the laws of transients when changing the grade and mark of the motor oil in the internal combustion engines tribosystems. The level of introduction: in the accredited laboratory "KHADO", SITI of Kharkiv state technical university of an agriculture have been introdused method of compatibility, integral criterion. The field of application: constraction and operation of tribosystem.
