Essay

The thesis contains research of the problem of GDP forecasting with the help of social sphere parameters. The author grounds the necessity and actuality of the short-term forecasting in the decision making process. Special attention is devoted to the social sphere of Ukraine in transitional period, labor market situation and the problems of demand and consumption. The author creates special methodic to estimate social and economical conjunction through the special composite indicators. There were proposed several short-term forecasting models of GDP, which based on composite indexes and National Accounts methodology. The author conducts analyses of forecasting results and describes the major factors of the economic growth.
