Kustova O. Ontogenesis and biomorphological pecularities of Ocimum basilicum L. at introduction in Donbass

. Objects - Ocimum basilicum L. The intention - to the study of individual development and biomorphological peculiarities of a new species for Donbas Ocimum basilicum L. and its varieties. The monographic scheme of the introduced species description together with analytical methods of onto- and morphogenesis research, variation of its organs features, structural elements of generativt sphere and the leaf epidermis are presented, biological plant characteristic on the basis of which the strategy of species adaptation to Donbas's conditions was detected, being also given. Resting on the theoretical generalization of the introduction experiment data obtained the most tolerant ecotopes to conditions of Donbas were singled out. Optimum terms and propagation methods were determined, the selection base for new sorts' creation being made.
