Essay

Research object: rat spleen and thymus lymphocytes. The purpose of study: the investigation of features of functioning of 2',5'-oligoadenylate-synthetase and dsRNA-dependent protein kinase interferon-dependent signal transduction systems in rat lymphoid cells under the influence of X-irradiation in 0,5 and 1 Gy doses. Methods: biochemical, radioisotope, immunological, spectrophotometric and mathematical statistic methods. Results: the increase of 2',5'-oligoadenylates intracellular level in rat spleen and thymus lymphocytes in 12 h. after X-irradiation in 0,5 Gy dose was established. The post-irradiation activation of 2',5'-oligoadenylate-synthetase was demonstrated on different biological models (rat lymphoid cells and Namalwa human B-cells). The activity of dsRNA-dependent protein kinase in rat lymphocyets increases upon the combined action of irradiation and interferon inducers. Field of application - scientific institutions for medical and biological studies.
