Essay

The alien fraction of the synanthropic flora of the Kyiv Urban Area (KUA). Establishing the regularities and peculiarities of formation of the alien fraction of the KUA. The methods of study were route field surveys of the area, floristical, biostatistical studies. The checklist of alien species of KUA are compiled, taxonomic and typological analyses and stages of formation of the flora are discussed. Results of the work can be used in phytomonitoring and also in special courses at higher education institutions.
