Water ecosystems of the Ustya, Zamchysko and Ikva rivers which as a whole belong to a watershed of the Pripyat are situated in a zone of active antropogenic influence. It is established that the main pollutants are biogenic substances as well as compounds of copper and chrome. Quality of water in the river Ustya in accordance with the hydroecological classification is characterized by gradation from classes 3 to 4. Quality of water in the rivers Zamchysko and Ikva is in the limits of 3 class. With the use of methods of estimation of indicator informativity 3 groups of macrophytes accordihg to their sensitivity to the water pollution are marked out. These groups are taken as a basis for determination of the weight coefficients of the plants for calculation of the devised index of phytoindication and new method of estimation of the water ecosystems condition by species composition of group of higher hydrophytes.
