Object - technological processes of regulation of control and safety units on traction transforming substations of an electrotechnical complex of the municipal electrotransport at all stages of their exploitation. Goal - to increase efficiency of operation of control and safety units in electrotechnical complexes due to development of new methods and means of their control, which are remarkable for the improved functional properties. Methods of research - methods of the theory of probability and mathematical statistics, information theory, mathematical modelling. Results: methods of the analysis and modelling of processes of the control of technical state of electrotechnical complexes of the municipal electrotransport taking into account possible failure of the control have received further development; the mathe-matical expressions, which make it possible to analyze electronic circuits of feedback devices for the purpose of developing algorithms of control of technical state and operating control, have been obtained; the fundamental capability of the admissive regulation of control and safety units of electrotechnical complexes is demonstrated, and the quantitative criterion of an estimation of quality of the monitoring system is developed; the monitoring facilities of operation of control and safety units, which together with an optimization tech-nique of a number of monitoring parameters are lead up to a level, which answers their practical introduction, are designed; the control device of the time-current characteristics of measuring elements of safety equipment is worked out; the technique is suggested and the device of a nondestructive test of secondary and power circuits insulation of the complex is developed. Introduction: Kharkiv Underground, Kharkiv plant "Electrotyazhmash", Kharkiv Ordzhonikidze tractor plant, Kharkiv G. I. Petrovsky Bicycle Works. The sphere of usage is electrotechnical complexes.
