Induction rheostats (IR) for inclusion in the circuit of a rotor winding of induction motor (IM). Improvement of theory and development of techniques for determination of electromagnetic parameters. Experimental and theoretical studies by the method of electrical circuit theory. The series of new factors, regularities is detected. The results will allow to design induction motors with improved regulating and dynamic properties. The solid ferromagnetic screen is presented by an equivalent single-turn winding. The findings are shared with Goskomenergozberezhennya (State Committe on Energy Saving) for the realization of R&D work and batch production. Electromechanical engineering.
