Research subjects: New interspecific technical grape forms. Research objectives: Choice of perspective grape forms for increasing the grape assortement in Ukraine and for practical selection purposes. Methods: Traditional viticultural research methods and new selection methods have been used. Theoretical and practical results: The principal means for isolation of among new hybrid highly productive forms, suitable for production of highly-qualifies dry wines were demonstrated. On the basis of research a new form was singled out and given to State Variety Testing Commission of sorts under the name Chadgibey and Zagrey. Novelty of introduced: A detailed agrobiological and technological study of 15 wine interspecific grape varieties. The grape resistance to frosts and to fingus diseases which are most common in the steppe zone of the south of Ukraine has been studied in the field conditions. The variation characteristics of main selection traits and their relative stability were studied. Implementation degree: The Chadgibey and Zagrey variety was given to be tested by the state variety Testing Commission. Effectiveness: Expected level of profitability is 131-222%.
