Essay

The work includes data about morphofunctional status of bronchoassociated lymphoid tissue BALT in children of the first year of life during acute pneumonia and without pathological changes. There were estimated the main cell populations of BALT and the term of their appearance in the lungs.We described peculiarity of quantitative and qualitative reconstruction of BALT components during acute pneumonia in children of the first year of life. Taken results let to choose effective prophylactic methods and to correct abnormal immune status.
