Essay

The object is the epitaxial garnet ferrite films; the purpose is to find out how the physical properties of the films are interrelated with the film synthesis conditions, to experimentally and theoretically investigate the remagnetization processes; the methods are liquid-phase epitaxy, inductive-frequen-cy method, magnetooptical method, theoretical analysis; the novelty is that for the first time an abnormal behavior of the magnetic susceptibility in films with angular-phase anisotropy has been found out, for the first time it has been experimentally demonstrated and theoretically grounded that here the film magnetizing is accompanied with the domain structure reshaping that comes through an intermediate single-domain state; the results are that the conditions for synthesizing films with predictable parameters have been worked out, the opportunity has been demonstrated to use the films with angular-phase anisotropy in magnetooptical devices; the field is defectoscopy and criminalistics.
