Essay

The detailed study of geoilogical-morphological conditions of localities for Unionidae in alluvium, lacustrine deposits of the varios age of river valleys of Dniester, Danube, Dnieper, Southern Bug, are presented. Main trends of evollution and discription of 50 species of Unionidae where 9 species and 3 subspecies are new for science are established. It was well-grounded for the first time for the sense of a mixed character of mollusks fauna from alluvium II, III, V terrace. New interpretation of their age is observed.
