Essay

The thesis is devoted to the accuracy increasing of Bell Calibration Facilities for Gas Flow Meters by the development of their structure and improvement of construction, in conjunction of elaborating perfected methods of their metrological examination and attestation. The model of the RL-6 Gas Meter and the improved model of Bell Calibration Facilities measuring process are presented. The analytical and experimental analysis of Bell Calibration Facilities and Gas Meters, has proved, that changing working gas from Natural Gas to Air will increase the display of Gas Meters up to 0,2...0,8%. The novel expressions of the Displacement fluid oscillations and the caused Mistake and based on the conducted analysis unproved bell-displacer construction, applicable to reduce the oscillations up to 25%, are also presented, as well as the structure, principal and functional schemes of such Facility. Using the elaborated methods and principles, the metrological attestation of the constructed OKMA-0.3 Bell Calibration Facility has been conducted. The flow rates arc 0,1... 12 m3/h, max. mistake of calibration is ± 0,12%.
