Objects are history of the opening up and colonization of the Western region of Canada and the USA and immigration polisy this countries in the 70-th years of the XIX-th century. The aims is analisis of the history of the immigration to Canada and the USA of the mennonites of the South of Ukraine in 70-th years of the XIX-th century. Methods - the historical methods: objectivity, sistem. Also have used exclusively historical methods - the historical-genetical, the problem-chronological, the comporative-chronological. In this work have based, that approaches od the Governments of Canada and the USA to the question concerning immigration of the mennonites of the South of Ukraine antipode. The Governments of Canada have attempted to conciderate all specifical conditions of the mennonites, which they were moving out in cfpfcity of Preliminary condions ont's own of the setting in this country. In the USA, the main personales in the process of the colonizationes, didn't be bureaucrats, but were representatives of the private business, which by the assistanse land grants, were accomplishing, the consruction of the railway track on the Middle West and at the same time were conducting it's colonization. The peculiarity of the conditions of the colonization of the mennonites in the USA was the fact that organizational and financial functiones in immigration of the mennonites were voluntarily takes one self by mennonites committee of help.
