Dissertation is devoted to the problems of vertebral fractures in patients with osteoporosis. A study of prevalence of the vertebral fractures in patients with osteoporosis has been undertaken. Clinical and X-ray peculiarities of spinal osteoporosis have been described. Investigation of the efficasy of roentgenmorphometric methods was performed. Risk factors of spinal osteoporosis have been established. Algorhythm for forecasting of vertebral osteoporotic fractures has been worked out. The complex of rehabilitation for the patients with osteoporosis complied by vertebral fractures was suggested. It was established that the long-term application of "Calcemin" allows to hamper bone loss and to prevent appearance of new vertebral deformities.
