Essay

Thesis is devoted to elaboration of effective processes of twist drills exploitation when composite materials working due to working out new productive methods of resharpening drills and elaboration of their progressive design. On the basis of geometrical parameters analysis of cutting part the twist drills with acute sharpened additional cutting edges and separate guide bands were elaborated. As the result of the experimental analysis of the drills with the straight-line undercutting edges the mathematical models of mechanical dependence and roughness of the worked surface were elaborated.
