Essay

The dissertation considers the aspects of higher effectiveness of machine part restoration using the method of metal powder electrocontact welding. The work studies the peculiarities of powder layer packing and heating when electrocontact welding is applied. The reasons of irregular distributions of physical and mechanical properties of coatings have been revealed and a new scheme of powder packing has been offered. The contact electrode with contoured surface has been developed. The heat task of contoured electrode welding has been solved. Thermomechanical treatment of coating with electrocontact welding within on technological cycle has been proposed.
