Essay

The object is electron-electron interactions in Mott-Hubbard transition metal compounds. The aim is study of metal-insulator transition and metallic ferromagnetism in ground іtate and the interpretation of pequliarities of electrical and ferromagnetic properties of transition metal compounds. The methods are modern variants of generalized Hartree-Fock approximation within the Green function technique. The energy spectrum, ground state energy and magnetization are calculated for the generalized models of non-degenerate and doubly degenerate band. Metal-insulator and paramagnet-ferromagnet transitions are studied. Fields of application: metalphysics, material sciences, electronics.
