Objects of investigation: Indicator dyes and surfactants. Aim of investigation: to reveal the regularities of the influence of surfactants structure and micellar regime on acid-base properties of indicators in micelles based on cationic surfactants. Methods: Spectrophotometry accompanied by pH-measurements, viscosimetry. As a result of systematic and versatile study of micellar systems, the manner, in which the changes in the micellar regime influence the properties of cationic surfactant micelles as media for acid-base reactions, was revealed. The conclusion about main reason of the nonadequacy of the common electrostatic model for description of such kind of equilibria was made. Degree of application: Using of the obtained set of equilibria parameters and spectral characteristics, as well as revealed regularities for the micellar microenvironments impact in colloid chemistry, bio- and photochemistry.
