The dissertation is devoted to allocation within the limits of east part of territory of Syria perspective on searches local oil and gas structures of sites by using the systems of faults in the basement. For the first time for territory of Syria covered by Meso-Cainozoic carbonate-terrigen complexes, the allocation of systems of faults in the basement on a technique K.F.Oyapkin is executed, in the basis of a rotational mode of ground lays concept. Six systems of faults with azimuths are allocated in territory of researches: 270°, 17° and 287°, 35° and 305°, 45° and 315°, 62° and 332°, 77° and 347°. And also the allocation of subsystems of faults in the basement on potential fields is executed by application of computer technologies. It established that within the limits of territory of researches four subsystems of faults with azimuths most precisely are shown: 270°, 310°, 62° and 77° in limits, which 78 % of known local structures are located. Established on territory of researches the connection between the allocated systems of faults in the basement and known local structures allows to make a conclusion, that the zones of faults in the basement are criteria by searches local oil and gas of structures.
