Essay

The thesis is devoted to definition of effective thermodeformation cycle of friction welding of dissimilar materials, which enter at heating in chemical interaction, and elaboration of friction welding technologies of aluminium and its alloys to steel and copper. Is experimentally established that at welding aluminium to steel and copper owing to displacement of a friction plane in aluminium specimen two borders are formed in a welding zone. The replacement of a friction plane from the interface affects on removing of intermetallic layer from a joint. It was shown that deformation is significantly intensify diffusion in a zone of contact, therefore conditions for minimisation intermetallic layer thickness are determined by heating time and deformation rate at upsetting. It was established that a shift deformation on a surface of initial contact is intensified during upsetting which carry out at deceleration stage of rotation. Is proved, that optimisation of deceleration time creates the opportunity offormation of high quality welds without continuous intermetallic layer.
