The thesis is devoted to the stady of biological, ecological and morphological peculiarities of the genus Nymphaea L. Object of investigation - 13 species, 5 variaties, 10 hybrids and 17 cultivares of the genus Nymphaea L. Aim - to work out problems of evolution, systematics, geography and bioecology. Estimation of results of introduction - to determine possbilities of wide application of the investigated species, varieties, hybrids andcultivares as decorative plants. Methods of investigations included the methods of introduced prognostication, phenological observations and laboratory researches. The introduced plants of the genus Nymphaea L. are represent by rootstock, bulbar and first determined relative-rootstock and relative-stoloniferous ecobiomorphs. It is determined that the introduced plants differ according to the terms of development and peculiarities of flowering. First the nectary of Nymphaea caerulea Savign. flover has been determined and its development phase has been desoribed. The ontogeny of rootstock, bulbar, relative-stolonferous Nymphaea L. is 8-10 years and the ontogeny relative- rootstock-7-8 yearas. The planscheme of an aquatic greenhouses complex has been proposed.
