Essay

The thesis is devoted to the problems of the methods and facilities for increasing operation speed and accuracy of digital fuzzy logic devices DFLD. Solving of these problems would let greatly enlarge the using area of the fuzzy control systems for objects in uncertain conditions. The methods of the DFLD' synthesis are designed for follows: rapid operation speed and accuracy of the qualitative signals fuzzyfication which are formalized by the gaussian and triangle membership function; rapid fuzzyfication of the quantitative signals by the way of transformation of the membership functions with gaussian shape to triangular shape and with bell shape to trapezoidal shape; defuzzyfication of the multimodal membership functions. For the hardware implementation of the synthesized devices the libraries of the VHDL models were designed. Libraries are used to hardware synthesis with PLD, simulation, testing and verification of the digital fuzzy logic devices.
