Brydun Y. Modeling a system of compensation for environmental economic losses

Object - system of insurance-based compensation environmental economic losses under the effect of extraordinary situations that happen through the fault of economic agents; purpose - deepening the methodological foundations for construction and functioning of the system of environment insurance on the basis of improved economic mathematical models for compensation of environmental economic losses; the methods - theoretical analysis and synthesis, mathematical and statistical methods, fundamental provisions as well as theory of economic risks, actuarial settlements, and interval and matrix calculus. Novelty of the research achievements - the author, on the basis of modified input-output tables, develops economico-mathematical models to justify the choice of the right insurance method for compensation of environmental economic losses, incurred as a result of emergency situations; proposes a new method to calculate full-expenditure matrix; improves the components of the system of environmental insurance,in particular: in the models of choice of optimum insurance amount, depending on the decision-maker and his or her risk propensity, interval calculus is used; in the methodology of the choice of priority items, multidimensional statistical analysis methods are used; in the calculations of tariff rates, the author uses methods of indistinct expert information.
