Research object - the process of thermal design of microelectronic systems. Aim - concept development, design and implementation of the networked system of thermal design of microelectronic devices of various embodiments and production techniques. Research methods - system, structural and functional analysis, theory of thermal and electrical processes, methods of circuit analysis. Theoretical result - concept of the development of new generation of CAD systems, tendencies of further evolution of CAD system theory. Practical result - system of thermal design iTSim. Economic effect - reducing thermal design time and materials, increasing the quality of design solutions. Application areas - enterprises and research institutions which design and produce IC, institutions of education.
