he dissertation originally characterizes in every detail the structurally (or substratly) based relief of Southern Roztochya and of the adjoining territory, elucidating its genetic peculiarities. Based on a detailed study of the structural relief, of the morphostructural and morphotectonic data, the dissertation evaluates the relief - forming significance of the active and of the passive tectonics, of the subsurface folding and fracture - block dislocations, of the fractures and cracked structures; the role has been shown of the layer structure in forming the stepped tiers of the relief.
