Objects of research: essential oilbearing of a plant The purpose of research: to conduct a complex research of biological features and economic-valuable indications perspective essential oilbearing of plants (Thymus vulgaris L., Artemisia balchanorum Krasch., Lavandula hybrida Rev., Lophanthus anisatus Benth., Nepeta cataria var. citriodora Beck.) for introduction in culture in conditions of a steppe zone of the south of Ukraine Methods: the field, morphological analysis, laboratory, comparative, settlement, mathematical - statistical etc. Theoretical and practical results: the efficiency, productivity and mass share of essential oil Thymus vulgaris L., Artemisia balchanorum Krasch., Lavandula hybrida Rev., Lophanthus anisatus Benth., Nepeta cataria var. citriodora Beck. in conditions of the Kherson area is investigated; are chosen concrete species with high parameters of economic-valuable indications, which will form the basis for creation highproductive of grades; optimum terms of cleaning cultivaters in conditions of the Kherson area are defined. Novelty of introduced: a biology of growth and development Thymus vulgaris L., Artemisia balchanorum Krasch., Lavandula hybrida Rev., Lophanthus anisatus Benth., Nepeta cataria var. citriodora Beck. in conditions of the Kherson area for the first time is investigated; are chosen and the forms of datas of plants are circumscribed; chemical structure essential oil of investigated kinds in this zone for the first time is determined and the comparative analysis of radio oil Thymus vulgaris, Lavandula hybrida Rev., Lophanthus anisatus Benth., brought up in conditions of the Kherson area and on a southern coast of the Crimea is made; on chemical structure of radio oil is chosen 16 new hamotypes of an Artemisia balchanorum , 5 - Thymus vulgaris, 4 - Lophanthus anisatus and 3 - Nepeta cataria var. citriodora. Implementation degree: is multiplied and is transferred to production 1 800 000 thousand pieces Thymus vulgaris and 480 thousand Lavandula hybrida; сollection ofspecies is created, numbering 19 forms of plants, best from them on a complex of economic-valuable indications are transferred for test to a botanical garden of Kherson pedagogical Universitety, agrarian university, Experimental station of medicinal plants; тhe datas dissertation of work are included in lecture and practical rates in KhSPU. Effectiveness: the cultivation essential oilbearing of plants in conditions of the Kherson area will allow enrich by high-quality raw material essential oilbearing, perfumery-cosmetic and pharmaceutical industry of Ukraine, that is economically favourable and expediently.
